The CR series comes in handy for lay-in T-bar openings in suspended grid ceilings and overlap openings (surface mount) in hard ceilings and walls. They help transfer or return high air volumes at minimum pressure requirements.
- Countersunk screw holes and mounting screws are the key components of CR series
- CR series has White (WH) as its standard finish
- Equipped with aluminum margins with aluminum grid cores
Product Application
Built for environments that require high-capacity ventilation, the CR1000U grilles can effectively maintain minimum pressure while still delivering quality ventilation. They can be easily installed on a surface mount and lay-in T-bar ceilings as well. They are equipped with countersunk screw holes to ensure a smooth, even finish. The product further comes with a sturdy U-frame to accommodate a damper. With a selection of three grid cores, this product offers you maximum choice and excellent performance.
Features
- Available in sizes between 6”x4” to 48”x48”. Product available in 1" increments of width and height. Sizes greater than 48”x48” are supplied in multiple sections
- The frame and core feature aluminum construction
- Optional steel mounting frame (45) available for use in plaster applications to facilitate grille removal
- Construction consists of grid core styles—1”x1”x1” and an extruded aluminum channel margin with a thickness of 0.04” - 0.05”
- 1-1/4” nominal overlap margin
- The manufacturer will provide published performance data tested in accordance with ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 70-1991 at isothermal conditions
